The ALC4050H uses the Realtek Audio Control Panel and everything shows up perfectly and totally intergrated. The tool doesn't report anything from ALC4050H driver. The Realtek HDA driver test utility shows your driver reporting Power Data Bus(D0) Codec(D0). My question is can this ALC4050H driver (Codec) be modified changing its Power Data Bus and Codec to D0? It takes 750ms for the driver to go from D2 to D0 causing 750ms of lost sound. I know the ALC4050H driver is powering down to D2 after 10 seconds causing the popping noise. My computer has the Realtek ALC4050H codec (AMD board) and I have problems with it making popping noise and truncated audio using the built in audio ports. I can now create songs and beats on my laptop without an external USB audio interface.I installed a Sound Blaster audio card, it uses a Realtek ALC1220 chip and your latest driver works perfectly with this sound card. Apart from that everything is working awesome. When I unplug headphones during ASIO playback, the audio app may even crash. If I plug headphones, the app will continue to use the laptop speaker. The only issue I have experienced: When an app is using the ASIO hardware, I cannot plug/unplug headphones. The reason is probably that those generic ASIO drivers do not really connect to the hardware, they just create even one more layer in order to simulate an ASIO device which is actually running with a normal windows audio driver. Before the ASIO drivers I could hardly play or record a few simple audio tracks. With a proper buffer setting I can now playback complex audio sessions in Cubase Pro and FL Studio with many synths and effect plugins. I have less latency and CPU load went down to normal. In my case the official Realtek ASIO driver from the DELL driver pack really boosted my audio performance. The advantage of using the official Realtek ASIO driver 7-Zip can open the file as if it was a ZIP-File and allows you to drag and drop the content to any folder on your computer. In case the drivers extraction fails, you can use a tool such as 7-Zip instead to extract the files in the package. Next time you start up your audio or video app you will find a new ASIO driver in the audio hardware settings.
